The Singing Pass Trail Access Fiasco began in the late 1960's. In 1968, the civilian park founders demanded that the Government at the time ensure access to the Singing Pass Trail during a time when Gairblaid Lifts Ltd (Whistler Blackcomb) were undertaking their a major expansion. Almost 50 years later, access to the traditional trailhead has yet to be secured/restored despite the efforts of multiple organisations. B.C. Parks has been all-but silent in the face of this disgraceful 50 year public betrayal.
