Email chain: Irregularities with heli-skiing park use permit for Spearhead Range (2016-12-19)

An email chain between GaribaldiPark2020 (precursor organization to BackcountryBC) and the Province regarding significant irregularities with the Whistler Heli-skiing park use permit for Spearhead Range, Garibaldi Park. The irregularites that were identified were: (1) heli-skiing inside the Wilderness Conservation Zone, (2) helicopter landing zones immediately adjacent mountain goat winter range, (3) the lack of research, data and studies on mountain goat populations in the Spearhead Range.
