NTSEW̓ÁSUS (SHANNON BASIN) VISITOR USE MANAGEMENT STRATEGY

With mounting pressures on the cultural and ecological integrity of Ntsew̓ásus from recreation activities,
the Province and Squamish Nation undertook a collaborative planning process to guide future shared
management of recreation. This Strategy is the outcome of that work; it recommends actions that work
towards a shared vision for Ntsew̓ásus. Implementation and monitoring will inform adaptative
management in a cyclic, ongoing process by the Province, Squamish Nation, and stakeholders.
